Tips & Advice
- Dress in warm, waterproof layers and wear sturdy, waterproof boots for snowshoeing. Consider bringing an extra pair of socks in case your feet get wet.
- Arrive at the meeting point for ranger-guided snowshoe walks at least 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and snowshoe fitting.
- Check the park's official website for the most current road conditions and weather forecasts before your visit, as winter weather can change rapidly.
- If you plan to go sledding, be aware that the Paradise Sledding Area will not be open for the 2024-2025 season. Check for alternative designated areas if available.
- Bring a backpack with water, snacks, and a fully charged phone. Consider a portable charger, as cold temperatures can drain batteries quickly.
