Overflow parking may be found in the North Carolina Medical Society parking lot behind Side Street Restaurant on Bloodworth Street. On-street parking is available throughout Oakwood but is limited. Visitors are advised that driving between properties is not recommended.
- Accessibility: Many historic properties have very limited access for disabled persons. High heel shoes, strollers, umbrellas, photography, and smoking are not permitted inside properties. Portable toilets are available along the tour route and at the Tucker House. Restroom use within tour homes is not permitted.
