Quick Actions

Tips & Advice

  • Wear comfortable shoes with non-hard soles, as you'll be walking between homes and inside historic properties where shoe protection is requested.
  • Plan to arrive early for check-in at The Tucker House (418 N. Person Street) starting at 12:30 PM, as tickets are limited and may sell out in advance.
  • Consider the weather and dress in layers, as the tour is held 'rain or shine' and involves moving between indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Since strollers are not permitted inside the tour homes, consider leaving them at home or making alternative arrangements for very young children.
  • Purchase tickets in advance as soon as they become available in the fall, as the event has sold out in previous years.
