Tips & Advice
- Arrive early to secure a good viewing spot along the parade route, especially near the town green, as parking can fill up quickly.
- Dress warmly, as December evenings in Connecticut can be quite cold. Layers are recommended.
- While Santa Rick appears at the end, full Santa costumes are discouraged on tractors to avoid confusing children.
- Spectators are not allowed at Fred Wolfe Park where the tractors meet; plan to watch from designated parade route areas.
- Be prepared for potential traffic delays and road closures along the parade route, especially on Orange Center Road.
