Practical Information

Parking

There is ample free parking in the lots at both locations within Griffith Park. Travel Town has a large enclosed lot that can accommodate trailers and large vehicles in addition to small cars. At Griffith Park & Southern RR, they are adjacent to a large narrow lot along with an overflow lot several yards away, but within walking distance of the trains.

Accessibility

Wheelchairs and assistive devices can be brought to the platform and up to the train seat. However, due to the antique nature of the train cars, wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on board. Passengers must be able to step up 8 inches or be assisted to board. The Simulator ride is wheelchair accessible to the entrance steps, but requires stepping up three steps to sit.

Pet Policy

No pets allowed

Food & Drink

Food and beverages are available at The Griffith Park Cafe, located between the trains and ponies. The Travel Town Museum Gift Shop has limited snack options on weekends. Concessions are also available within the park.
