Tips & Advice
- Book your tickets in advance, especially for preferred seating options, as this popular holiday train ride often sells out quickly.
- Arrive at the Nevada State Railroad Museum Boulder City at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure to allow ample time for boarding and to soak in the festive atmosphere.
- Dress in layers and bring warm clothing, as the train ride and Santa's Railyard activities are outdoors and can be chilly, even with the promise of a 'snow storm'.
- Consider purchasing First Class Seating for a more comfortable and potentially less crowded experience, though Coach Seating still offers a wonderful holiday adventure.
- Keep an eye out for the model railroad car, which is open to the public on most weekends, offering a fascinating glimpse into miniature railway worlds.
